Vigil Support
Additional Support Options
When bedside presence is needed, ORDELAS can arrange calm, nonclinical support through qualified independent vigil and end-of-life doula professionals. We coordinate provider selection, scheduling, and the family’s requested vigil plan so families do not have to manage these arrangements alone. Coverage is provided in scheduled blocks and remains subject to providerÂ
availability.
Vigil support does not include medical care, personal care, medication assistance, or continuous bedside coverage until death.
Additional Support Hours
When needs extend beyond the time included in a selected support option, additional professional support may be arranged at $150 per hour, subject to availability and approval in advance.

Payment & Scheduling
Clear terms before support begins

The Planning Session is paid in full when scheduled.

Family Transition Support may be paid in full or 50% at engagement and 50% on Day 7.

Immediate After-Death Support is paid in full when confirmed.

Additional support hours must be approved and paid for in advance.

Third-party expenses are paid separately by the client.

ORDELAS will not charge additional professional fees without the client’s approval.

You do not need to wait for a crisis. Beginning early allows more time to clarify wishes, organize information, involve family members, and consider available options. ORDELAS can also step in when circumstances change quickly or immediate guidance is needed, subject to availability.
How does ORDELAS work with hospice and funeral homes?
ORDELAS complements—not replaces—licensed professionals. We help families prepare questions, organize information, communicate priorities, and coordinate practical next steps with hospice teams, healthcare providers, funeral homes, cremation providers, attorneys, and other professionals selected by the family.
